Defense or Offense? What type of problem solving behaviors are you exhibiting?

By Ed Egan:

Great Defensive sports coaches say their teams do best when they focus on predicting what the other team will do next and taking those opportunities away from their opponent. The defensive sports coaches and teams spend hours studying and researching their opponents.  They look at game stats, they review hours of their opponents’ play and they analyze a significant amount of data in order to help them with predicting their next move. When a problem occurs, have you stepped back to determine the cause and how you may have prevented it? Do you manage issues when they happen or do you look proactively to solve problems which “may” occur?  Our “Root Cause Investigation” course will show you how to anticipate and mitigate negative outcomes by researching trends, evaluating past results, and applying the proper corrective and preventative actions.
