    This 3-4 hour workshop will introduce participants to tools and methodologies that can be used to develop, install, and measure goals focused on improving the operation.

    Participants will learn how to

    • Identify actions that will be needed to help their teams install a culture of commitment versus just compliance as it relates to goal setting.
    • Create specific and actionable goals to drive improvement
    • Measure progress against the goals
    • Celebrate the success that is derived from goal obtainment
    • Adjust the goals to allow for greater performance
    • Leverage the learnings across the organization

    Root Cause Investigations

      How many times do you ask “why” before you get the real answer to an issue? By exploring the root cause of issues, you can more productively address the source of decreased productivity in your organization leading to greater organizational success and cultural moral. In this workshop, participants will gain a working overview of the 5 WHY model of Root Cause Investigation which can be used to build on the positive elements taking place or redirect the negative elements in one’s operation.

      This 3- 4 hour course is intended for those that are involved in the resolution of recurring challenges that cause chaos in the operation and ultimately lead to a lack of productivity.

      Participants will learn how to

      • Define what an “unplanned event” is in their business or personal life.
      • Define and develop investigation statements to be used in an opportunity investigation.
      • Recite the intent of the 5 WHY methodology and how it helps get to the “root” of an opportunity.
      • Identify actions that will be needed to help their teams install a culture of commitment versus just compliance as it relates to the problem-solving.
