How Double E got started

In May of 2017, Ed Egan attended a training session. Early in the session, he realized he had been taught the concepts before and questioned why he was attending. At another table, a group had just inherited a business from their father. That group had never heard or seen the presented content and were embarking on their journey as business owners with minimal guidance. As Ed spoke with that group of new business owners, he concluded that his skills and knowledge could help those in need of training and skill development. Today, Ed brings his skills, knowledge, and passion helping others improve the efficiency of their workplace.

He started his career as a shop floor operator and through hard work and continuing education ended up as a Global Learning Leader before he left the Corporate World to start Double E Workplace Solutions. Karen spent 30 years in engineering, human resources, and manufacturing of a global fortune 100 company.  She started her career as a Process Development Engineer and throughout her career had many opportunities to recruit, coach and mentor new employees.  Over time, she discovered a strong passion for learning and for developing employees, receiving a tremendous amount of satisfaction when seeing someone’s career bloom, a new opportunity open for them, or improved performance as a result of what she was able to provide them.  Some highlights of her career include serving in the following roles:
